The Bindery, a pop-up co-working & workshop space for Indy designers!
This past August, Pattern partnered with the Harrison Center for the Arts, and AIGA Indianapolis, to bring the local creative community a pop-up co-working& workshop space!
It was a great month of wonderful encounters, fantastic workshops and hands-on experiences of what a co-working space for design creatives might look like in Indy’s future!
Overall, we had over 300 people and almost 20 different organizations/businesses take advantage of the B[IND]DERY. We hosted nine workshops in 4 weeks and then closed the experience out with a wildly successful pop-up boutique featuring ten local fashion brands with an attendance of over 500 people. All in all, our live feasibility “study” was a great success and we look forward to translating our newfound experiences into a practical commodity that can help take the local creative entrepreneurs to the next level. Stay tuned!
The B[IND]ERY project would have been impossible to bring to life without support from our sponsors: Indy Chamber, CICF, Harrison Center for the Arts, AIGA Indianapolis, IndySwag, KA+A, Uber, IndyReads, Aesthetic Design Style House, IndyHub, IndySpectator, House of 5th, Nikki Blaine Couture, Indy Star, SocialClub19 & We are City.
