Pop-Up Business School Coming to Indy!

Want to start or grow a business? A pop-up business school where you learn about turning your passion into a business is coming to Indianapolis for free! The practical two week business course will be held from October 21st, 2019 to November 1st 2019 every day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the John Boner Neighborhood Center located at 2236 East 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201.

The pop-up business school is an alternative business course that teaches you ways to get your business ideas off the ground regardless of where you are with your business now. The approach is completely different from any other kind of business school because you’ll be shown exactly how to start without spending any money. During this two week course you will:

  1. Receive a free booth
  2. Learn how to use marketing and sales strategies
  3. Build a free website
  4. Learn social media tactics
  5. Learn about tax and legal help
  6. Network
  7. Learn how to build up confidence
  8. Learn how to negotiate

It will feature a Fresh Food Market, Pop-Up Market Place, engaging seminars, meet the artist and authors, and entertainment. The two week course is sponsored by local partners: Innovative Indiana, IUPUI, Kelley School of Business, Taft and Indiana Central. At the end of the two weeks, a “Trading Day” will be held where the community can come and support business starts by helping them make money!
