People of PATTERN Lindsay Hadley

What do your friends call you?
Just Lindsay!

How old are you (if you don’t mind me asking!)?
40

Where are you from?
I grew up on the Southside

Which neighborhood do you live in right now?
I live in Glendale, so it’s really close to Broadripple. I live walking distance from the Glendale Target!

What do you do for a living?
I am an art director and the associate creative director for GhostRanch Communications.

What do you do as a creative outlet?
I volunteer for PATTERN! I don’t have many skills outside of designing so if I volunteer for anything it’s always design related. If you need lobbying materials, newsletters, or posters for your event, that is how I volunteer.

What’s the most interesting thing happening in Indy right now?
Mayor Pete! I am totally team Pete – he makes us look really good. I actually volunteered for Pete. I did his logo when he ran for mayor of South Bend. You never know when your volunteer work will pay off. I knew him way back when!

Favorite local brewery, distillery or winery?
Sun King – I am a Wee Mac girl.

Last trip you took?
I went to Cuba in March! I went with my college photo professor and friends.

How did you first hear about PATTERN?
I hired Polina for a shoot then I learned more about PATTERN and pitched an editorial feature to her and she let me design it. The rest is history. She never let me go!

What event are you looking forward to attending this month?
On Friday I am going to my first polo match! It’s at Hickory Hall Polo Club – they charge by the car-load and they do a candy drop at halftime.
