Iris Van Herpen, I love the silhouettes and each piece reminds me of the beauty of nature.

Did you ever consider leaving the Indy area? If so, what made you stay?
I definitely considered it, but the pandemic has made me stay which in return has made me take a closer look at how many creatives and talent there is to tap into here.

Define fashion.
Fashion is what you make it. A personification of personalities through fabric.

Worst fashion trend:
Not really into trends, but one thing I do not like is people taking autonomy over things because nothing is new, fashion is a cycle.

Best fashion trend:
Crossbody bags and bags in general.

What trends are you noticing for the upcoming season?
For me and my house, jewel tones and high fashion leisure wear.

What’s next for you? What short and long term goals are on your list?
I want to continue to model and push creative ideas for styling, creative directing, managing social media, PR work and set designs. Overall, I just want to collaborate with more creatives. I want to establish connections and my work, along with traveling.

What brand would you like to open a brick and mortar in Indianapolis?
No need to bring in outside people more so need to focus on the local creatives here.

Keep up with Thailand on Instagram and Twitter!
