What are you most looking forward to during your PATTERN internship?
The opportunities are what I am most looking forward to interning at PATTERN and I am excited to be able to put things together and create.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Hopefully have my master’s degree in creative writing and potentially have my own business!

What is your dream job?
My dream job is to get paid to travel the world!

If you could have lunch with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?
Gordon Ramsey, so he could cook for me, and make all the decisions!

What kind of music do you listen to and what artists are you loving right now?
I mainly listen to Hip Hop and Rap. Right now I am really into Afro Beats and R&B. Kendrick Lamar is one of my favorites.

If your friends were to describe you in three words, what would they be?
Passionate, bright, and a little bit scattered.

What are three things you can’t live without?
EOS sweet mint chapstick, my water bottle, and my new orange planner. I can’t live without my planner, but only paper planners- I can’t work with digital ones. I need there to be more room because I have so much going on it doesn’t fit.

If you could live a day in the life of a fashion icon, who would you choose?
Hailey Bieber- I am obsessed! She can wear sweats and totally rock it, and she’s married to Justin Bieber!

If you could have any actress, dead or alive, portray your life in a movie, who would you choose and why?

Audrey Hepburn because I grew up having her as a role model. She was the epitome of class and fashion to me and if I could have that come full circle and have her play me in my life, that would be a dream.

What do you hope to accomplish at PATTERN?
I want to bring a unique sense of brightness into the workplace because Indy can be such a dark place. Pattern has such a good reach that if I was able to bring a different light into it and showcase how color isn’t childish, and light isn’t just for summer, I could bring lighter things into dark tines and bring those kinds of things in front of the camera.

What is your dream job?
I want to own my own fashion house and be the creative director of it with a bunch of girly faucets on the side.

What’s the one song that no matter how tired you are, will pull you back onto the dance floor?
Girl Almighty by One Direction or Fashionista by Jimmy James.

Personal and professional goals?
A personal goal I would say is to embrace everything life has to offer. I tend to be stressed out and I’ve been obsessed with this idea of time-Just going to work and school is such a mundane life and I really want to challenge living a mundane life. My professional goal would be to find a niche in the fashion industry.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Pizza for sure! If we are getting fancy, margherita over a wood fire. But I could always go for a Chicago deep dish!

What makes you feel the happiest?
Right before it’s about to be spring, it starts to get cool. The air is fresh and you know something new is coming and the seasons are getting ready to change.

What song is your anthem right now?
Dancing Queen by ABBA, I’m obsessed with Mama Mia-if I could have someone play my life it would be Lily James. I danced for 15 years and it is that song I can always dance to!

Least favorite fashion trend?
I don’t like jeans that have that hole. You know when there is a giant hole in the thigh-don’t get me wrong I love ripped jeans but when you’re spending $70 on jeans that like half of it!

What challenges you most?
Saying no to people. I’m a people pleaser. I do everything for everyone despite not having time for it. I just don’t know how to say no really.

One thing you want to take away from your internship this semester?
Being confident in my work and not second-guessing my place in the fashion industry.

I am the VP of External for Jagathon (since IUPUI’s mascot is the Jaguars, we call it the Jagathon!)

First fashion memory you can remember?
Definitely the graphic tees with gauchos or plaid pants. I was a huge plaid shorts gal as a child!

What is your go-to tv show?
New Girl is my go-to comfort tv show. My favorite character is definitely Nick!

Favorite travel memory?
Doing a Semester at Sea where I had the chance to travel to four countries, (Japan, Vietnam, South Africa, and Mauritius). It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It was a shipboard education where I took communication classes and made so many friends!

Favorite social media applications?
I would say TikTok is my favorite social media application, because it became immensely popular during the pandemic, and I spent a lot of time scrolling. I’d say my least favorite is Facebook only because a different generation uses it. It’s a little dated. I mostly use it to connect with family and old teachers.

Goals for the internship?
I’m looking forward to being a part of an essential team and doing meaningful tasks. I love how it’s not a traditional internship, and I can have more responsibility and freedom.

Phone, hydro flask, and credit card.
