What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to be relocated and have a name for myself as a photographer.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Slow down and stress less!

What’s your favorite childhood board game?
Monopoly because it’s all about the money!

Who is one person you would love to photograph and why?
Actually, I would love to photograph @simihaze on Instagram. They are twin DJs! I love their style and how they complement each other. They are very versatile with street style and high fashion, which you don’t see that often.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you have and why?
My film camera so someone could find my photographs after I die, because I would die. Water to try to stay alive, and a weighted blanket for cold nights.

If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you do with that time?
I would travel the world and probably buy all the high fashion clothing that I could afford. I would visit either Greece or Paris.

If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?
Avocado toast because I eat it almost everyday! Wait…no, scratch that! Spaghetti because I eat that everyday.

Who inspires you the most?

I know this sounds super basic, but Rihanna inspires me because she is completely herself. She doesn’t follow exact fashion trends. She does everything her own way, and she works her ass off! Also, I love her because she came up with a makeup line that includes a large range of skin tones.

What is your ‘word’ for 2019? Why?
My word for 2019 is ‘opportunities.’ I want to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible to grow as an individual and flourish as a creative.

If you had the option, would you go to the future or the past?
I would go to the past because there are certain happy moments in my life that I want to relive. I’m not in a rush to go to the future because I feel like it is going to come quickly anyway.

What is something that you would want to change about the fashion industry?
I would want the fashion industry to be more inclusive. There is a lack of diversity present currently, and I would like to see more representation for minorities within the industry. People’s uniqueness should be celebrated!

What is your dream job?
My dream job would combine fashion and travel together. Ideally, I want to be a creative director within the fashion industry. I also want to learn how to create my own brand on social media and potentially own a clothing line.

How did you get into graphic design?
I took a design course where I learned about Alexey Brodovitch, who is the Art Direct for Harper’s Bazaar from 40s to 50s. It made me get into editorial design. He would refer to the layout of the magazine as a music composition, and I thought that was really interesting.

What is on your winter playlist?
My winter playlist includes the entire Harry Styles album and songs, such as “Cherry Wine” by Hozier, “Spark” by Amber Run and “The Long Road”  by Passenger.

What’s your dream place to live?
Florence, Italy! The food is super good, the people are super friendly, and it is a beautiful city!

What is your guilty pleasure food?
Probably a Big Mac…It’s the guiltiest pleasure probably when it comes to food, but the mac sauce is so good!
