Virtual Events You Can Attend at Home

Are you tired of binge-watching the same show on Netflix every day? Trying (but failing) at learning Tik Tok? Baked so many banana breads that you just can’t even look at a banana anymore? Here are some virtual events you can attend from the comfort of your own home to spice things up a bit. (Let’s be honest, you can only watch Grey’s Anatomy so many times).

Pacers Turbo Trivia 

Now until May 7th, download the Pacers app for IOS or Android to participate in weekly trivia.

Pop Up Classes

Want to start a new hobby? Or hone your skills in one you already have? Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre is hosting pop up classes every day at 2p.m. on their Facebook page. The classes are completely free for anyone, but donations can help support the local theatre.

Online Yoga Classes

You can sign up for kOMpose Yoga Studio online classes to get your daily yoga fix. Classes can be streamed on Teachable or you can watch them live on Zoom. Classes start at $89 per month which will give you access to all the content they produce!

One America 500 Virtual Mini-Marathon 

Sad that the Indy Mini isn’t happening? Don’t be! You can do it virtually, anytime, anywhere. All you have to do is sign up online, then pick the date and time that you want to run, walk or wheel your distance. Once you’re finished you can submit your results online and get your shirt and medal shipped right to your door. Tickets start at $30, you can register here.

Live Stand Up Show with Todd Glass

You can join the hilarious Todd Glass for a special show via Zoom for only $10!  The event will be held Saturday April 18 at 5:30 p.m. All the instructions for how to access the zoom will be emailed to the ticket holders. You can purchase tickets here.

Bringing the Zoo to you

While the Indianapolis Zoo is closed to the public, you can still get your daily dose of cuteness via their Facebook page.
