Occupation: Furniture Design Student at Herron School of Art
Preferred mode of transport: Biria Bike, it replaced a vintage cruiser that was stolen. (Editors note: We got a great description of the kidnapped bicycle and we are watching!)
Tell me about this cool watch: It’s called a spy watch, it’s a “secret agent watch.” You can actually check your email and such by hitting these buttons.
How did you get this, I need one: It’s secret but it actually is from 1998. The brand is called “spoon” and they don’t make them anymore.
Favorite place to shop in town: Harloh’s Vintage. This dress is actually from there. I love the top, the texture is amazing.
Tell me about the rest of your outfit: It’s all vintage. The shoes I’ve had for six years now and I wear them all the time. They were a great buy. The belt and bag are all vintage. I like to put together different period pieces.
Who is your favorite designer: Comme des Garcons. I love the simplicity and structure while still being edgy.
Favorite fashion item you can’t live without: That’s difficult. I would have to say dresses, I just love them. My favorite is a simple, vintage black dress. Very “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” I love the way it makes me feel.
What part of Indy do you claim: I love Lockerbie. I live and play there, or around there. My house is older and stylish, it’s close to Mass Ave, The Earth House, I can get anywhere quickly.
Can you give Indy a piece of fashion advice: *laughing* Don’t be stale! Don’t be afraid to express yourself, fashion is fun. Why ignore something that makes you “you?”
