Join the Fashion Arts Society of the IMA for their 5thannual Hats Off! Lecture & Luncheon on Tuesday, May 3rd. They will be celebrating the pivotal place that quilts hold in American culture and in women’s personal lives.
Shelly Zegart, passionate collector, curator, author & lecturer on antique & contemporary quilts will present a talk, entitled Why Quilts Matter: History, Art & Politics.
The event will continue with a luncheon in the Deer Zink Events Pavilion, including a silent auction & raffle drawing, with proceeds benefiting the FAS Acquisitions Fund.
